C Plus to launch on June 19, Motorola's cheapest phones yet

Lenovo sent media invites earlier this week for a launch event scheduled to take place on Monday in New Delhi. Moto C Plus will be first Moto Ce series smartphone to go for sale online. It's not only the launch event, Motorola confirmed that the Moto C Plus will be exclusive to FlipKart in the country, at least at launch. This will change on June 19th when the device is unveiled. The Moto X4 will be a smartphone created to compete in the upper mid-range segment of the market, powered by the Snapdragon 660 system-on-chip (SoC) that Qualcomm announced earlier this year, the source asserted. For one thing, Moto C and Moto C Plus are the cheapest smartphones to be offered by the company this year.

Moreover, the expected price should be Rs. 8500/-. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC paired with 1GB or 2GB of RAM. The phone has a dual camera setup with 13MP sensor and a bit smaller 5.2 inches display which is powered by a 3800 mAh battery.

For photography enthusiasts, there is an 8 Megapixels camera on the rear and a 2 Megapixels camera on the front, and both the cameras sport an LED flash.

Its 5.2-inch display panel will likely boast a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, previous reports indicated, with new information now suggesting that the handset will have a 3,800mAh battery. The device would run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and the connectivity options available include Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio and microUSB 2.0. Although there is no official word from Motorola about the Moto G5S+, the information shared by Yatim, who has been consistently leaking information on the upcoming Motorola phones, seems to be accurate.
