Earlier, President Donald Trump announced America's shock withdrawal from the Paris climate accord Thursday, prompting a furious global backlash and throwing efforts to slow global warming into serious doubt.
Trump's move was "a big mistake", said Donald Tusk, one of the European Union's top officials. Trump had said at the time that India would be get billions of dollars for meeting its commitment under the 2015 Paris Agreement along with China and this will enable them to gain a financial advantage over the US.
"For the sake of our country and our future, President Trump must quickly embrace the truth that climate change is real, and act on it - by supporting investments in clean energy technology that will create good-paying jobs and drive innovation, and by restoring American leadership in this massive global effort". For example, the USA version asserts that the climate deal "undermines US competitiveness and jobs".
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said USA withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement had come as a shock for India and he believes America will rethink its decision on the climate change agreement.
Mr Christian said the U.S. withdrawal is not surprising as Mr Trump had made his intentions known earlier.
Haley voiced support for Trump saying business could not be run under the kind of regulations imposed by the Paris Climate deal.
The world is "laughing (and) crying at the president of the United States, who clearly doesn't know what he's talking about", former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told CNN on Friday. "Pulling out of the Paris agreement doesn't put America first, it puts America last in recognizing science, in being a world leader and protecting our own shore line, our economy and our planet".
Trump spoke about his decision by phone Thursday with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, and Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom.
The ministry's video had the same background, font, images and music as the White House but with a different message.
In fact, Mayor Bill Peduto on Friday joined the mayors of some 175 other U.S. cities and the governors of several states in announcing that his city would follow the terms of the Paris treaty. The author argues that global warming and climate change is a hoax spread by a certain section of the American society to increase government interference in markets and lives of people, and I turn increase taxes and cost of living. Kerry said on NBC News' "Meet the Press."
