Double Olympic bronze medallist Paddy Barnes says he would love to see UFC star Conor McGregor cause a huge upset by defeating boxing legend Floyd Mayweather when they clash on August 26 in Las Vegas.

While terms are still unknown, it's been reported that Mayweather would get the larger purse, potentially as high as $100 million, according to White, likely the motivation in luring him out of retirement and risking his ideal 49-0 career record. With McGregor signed to the UFC, the fight would not be possible without White's consent. "There has never been anybody like him in this sport".

Details of the Mayweather-Pacquiao PPV prices were released just over a month before the 2015 fight, so fans might have to wait until mid-July to get finalized numbers. He's already spent the a year ago taking jabs at Mayweather. McGregor has proven the power of his infamous left hand with 18 of his 21 career wins resulting from a knock-out.
