Jay Z Just Tweeted Over 50 Rappers Who Inspire Him

President Obama recorded a special message for the "99 Problems" musician as he became the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He also shared a congratulatory video from Barack Obama that has his fans who are suffering from Beyonce baby fever totally freaking out. "Jay Z has earned the right to be the first rapper [in the Hall of Fame]". He also cracks a dad joke about Beyonce and Michelle Obama.

"I'd like to think Mr. Carter and I understand each other", Obama said. We know what it's like not to come from much, and to know people who didn't get the same breaks that we did.

Obama described himself as a longtime fan of Jay Z and, in a veiled reference to his successor Donald Trump, said: "I'm pretty sure I'm still the only president to listen to Jay Z's music in the Oval Office".

Now the big question is whether Blue Ivy's little sisters have already arrived or if Jay and Bey told Barack Obama the sex of the twins before they were born.

Along with Jay Z, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Berry Gordy, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Robert Lamm, James Pankow, Max Martin and Peter Cetera of "Chicago" were inducted as the class of 2017.

Responding to his induction, a number of Jay Z's contemporaries in the music industry praised him via statements posted to the Tidal website. "In fact, Jay, you've been inspiring and making me want to be active in my retirement just like you've been in yours". He's the first rapper to ever be inducted, and ahead of the ceremony, he hopped on Twitter to name about 50 rappers new and old who continue to inspire him.

Barack and Michelle Obama now have two daughters, and Beyonce and Jay-Z have one. The rapper hadn't tweeted since March, so what was the occasion?
