"Assembly process for the previous generations of [iPhones] have not changed much", Hwang said, "though new features like waterproof and wireless charging now require some different testing, and waterproof function will alter the assembly process a bit".
Are you excited to see these two new features come to the latest family of Apple's iPhones?
Searching for a power outlet to charge your drained iPhone may become a thing of the past, after a device manufacturer for Apple said wireless charging for iPhones is now in the works.
Of course, wireless charging would appeal in another way.
This will definitely excite Apple fans who have for always been craving for wireless battery charging.
In November, a rumour surfaced online, which said that Apple intends to incorporate Energous-developed chip on the back of the iPhone 8 to enable wireless charging from up to 15 feet from the charging station. The company is also reportedly assembling the iPhone 6S model.
Looking to up their game and make some significant changes to the design and performance of the iPhone, Apple will apparently be introducing wireless charging to the upcoming iPhone 8 (which might be called the iPhone X).
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus already received an IP67 rating, which meant that the smartphones could survive being submerged under a meter of water for 30 minutes.
