After a powerful foe makes his escape on a helicopter, Spider-Man begins to chase down the aircraft as it drags along a piece of a crane that begins to tear through the skyscrapers of NY. The game is now slated to arrive on PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018.
The gaming trailers shown on the E3 stage were nearly all sequels to existing gaming franchised and brands. However, the new storyline, graphics, action and game sequences have shown that this new game is going to (perhaps) be the best Spider-Man game yet.
The event also unveiled a version of the hit fantasy role-playing game "Skyrim" tailored for play on PlayStation virtual reality gear. In fact, it's been ages since Microsoft revealed any official Xbox One sales numbers, but the latest reports indicated Microsoft had sold less than 30 million units. Currently, Sony's entire console system has more than 70 million active users from across the globe each month as of March 2017. God of War will be a PS4 exclusive and will launch in early 2018. This game is being developed by Insomniac Games, the group behind popular PlayStation games such as "Resistance" and "Song of the Deep".
A couple of other PS VR games were also revealed during the Sony E3 2017 conference.
Instead, the company, which already has the lion's share of the gaming console market, celebrated the biggest titles which will be arriving for the PS4 and for Playstation VR.
This classic game title, which was first released for the PlayStation 2, has only received a remastered reboot back in 2011. The trailer video attached underneath shows how our beloved Spidey will be able to web-sling and explore the open world while fighting crime and combining moves.
Shadow of the Colossus will be receiving a full remaster for the PlayStation 4! The game does not have a definite release date as of now but it is expected to be released sometime in mid-2018.
