Golden State Warriors take NBA title

"They beat us, but I'm pretty sure we'll be back and we'll be ready to battle again", Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving said.

Even though Tyronn Lue did a great job with the Cavaliers in the regular season, his struggles were in the spotlight in the playoffs, especially during the Finals.

Cleveland star LeBron James, who won his first title in 2012 by beating Durant's Thunder in the finals, sees how the journey has made Durant into a champion over the past five years. It is obvious that this year's roster can not compete with the Warriors [VIDEO] as the team depends a lot on LeBron. Here's a quick rundown of everything LeBron discussed after the Finals ended.

"To go up against somebody I view as like a rival, personally, is an unbelievable feeling to beat him", Durant claimed.

"I left everything on the floor every game, all five games", he said.

In order to stay competitive and have a chance to win a championship next year, the Cavaliers will have to make some big moves.

Asked about his future in the league, he said, as quoted by The Guardian: "For me personally, I don't know". It was what LeBron and Chris Bosh did when they went to play with Dwyane Wade in Miami. I'm working every day, seeing how I can be the best teammate, the best player I can be.

"We're obviously just getting started", the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player said. I put in work, I just had to trust in it.

This is a remarkable turnaround when you consider that just a short time ago, the team was the poster child for ineptitude. To be back here, bring ol' Larry back home, I'm just excited to do something special. I don't need to be back on the basketball court right now. "I've got nothing but love and respect for him and I can't wait to compete against him again next season". But I'll train. I'll train all summer.

"I'm just happy for him".

On why he doesn't believe in the concept of "superteams": "I don't believe I've played for a superteam". I'm not happy at all.

"We felt like Kevin could come in and help us", he added. "That's when you see how precious these moments are". No matter what anybody say, they can never take that away that you're a champion. "Keep your cool. Don't argue with the refs, '" Green revealed after winning the 2017 NBA Finals in five games over the Cleveland Cavaliers. "Some teams wouldn't embrace a guy who came into a situation like ours".
