PlayStation 4 reaches 60.4 million sold worldwide

Before the firm's main briefing got under way, it announced a new feature for PlayStation owners - PlayLink, which lets friends join gaming experiences via their smartphones.

Sony showcased trailers of all its upcoming video games which included exclusives for the PS4 and even some pleasant surprises.

This PlayStation showcase was meant to keep up the company's momentum in the console war, continuing over two years of sales dominance.
