South wind 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 20 miles per hour. Temperatures are going to be hot with most areas in the lower-90s. Calm wind becoming south around 5 miles per hour.
As we go through the rest of the week expect a chance for mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s possible at times. Mostly cloudy, with a low about 69. Evening showers/storms possible. Lows in the lower 70s. Meanwhile shower and storm chances return to the mix today, and generally stick around through the forecast period. Partly sunny, with a high near 88.
Showers taper off overnight as temperatures fall to the mid 60s. Again, with the increase in humidity, it will feel more like the upper 90s to almost 100 degrees in spots. Rain chances near 20% through Wednesday - low threat of severe weather. Highs will warm into the mid 80s Friday.
Beyond Monday, scattered rain is a good bet on Tuesday as well.
Partly sunny skies are expected on Thursday, with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday Night: A chance of showers, mainly after 3am.
Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain will be at 60 percent. In the evening, there's a 30 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms, but possible rainfall, again, shouldn't exceed more than a tenth of an inch. Lows will stay in the lower 70s.
The best potential for strong to severe weather will remain in areas to the east and south of Billings, but the entire area has at least some potential for rain and thunderstorms.
We're still tracking a very slight chance for some isolated thunderstorms tonight. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 50 percent chance of rain.
