Kamala Harris Was Interrupted Again Today

Sessions became visibly frustrated after Harris repeatedly interrupted him in an attempt to speed up his answers to her questions. A black woman can't question a white attorney general?

"Did you have any communication with any Russian businessmen or Russian nationals?", Harris asked. She was very dogged, there's no question, but I wouldn't say she was any more dogged than Ron Wyden [D-Ore.] was, would you?

MILLER: "From my perspective ― my, I would say, objective perspective ― I mean it was.it didn't seem like there was any effort to try to get to a real question or get to the bottom of it".

After Sessions referred to a Justice Department policy that compelled him to refuse to disclose communications between himself and the president until Trump had waived executive privilege, Harris pressed him.

POWERS: She didn't shout, actually, but even if she did, I'm just saying that they both were asking a lot of tough questions and I think calling her hysterical is probably a little gendered thing to say.

"I think she was hysterical", Miller stated, sticking to his guns.

"So did you not consult it before you came before this committee knowing we would ask you questions about that?"

After a short exchange with Harris, the senator's five minute questioning time expired.

HARRIS: Did you ask that it be shown to you?

"The policy is based on the principle -" Sessions replied.

HARRIS: Sir, I'm not asking about the principle. OK, I just wanted to clear that up. Harris was pressuring Sessions and Sessions was tap dancing artfully when John McCain suddenly interrupted to complain that Harris wasn't allowing Sessions to respond.

Harris was also prevented from finishing her questions to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein during the June 7 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act hearingdue to an interruption from McCain and Burr, according to reporting by the LA Times.
