The Sportbrake will be offered with the same powertrain options fitted to the XF sedan, and this means a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbo diesel and 3.0-litre supercharged petrol V6. It will be manufactured at the castle Bromwich factory near Coventry, according to Motor1. The XF Sportbrake gest a light construction with aluminum and some magnesium - lowering fuel consumption and Carbon dioxide emissions, and tips the scales at 3,659 lbs (1,660 kg).
Use of lighter materials such as aluminum cuts fuel consumption and Carbon dioxide emissions, and ultimately running costs - the new XF sedan a year ago cut 198 kilograms over the previous model, and the new Sportbrake tips the scales at a relatively lithe 1,660 kg.
The XF Sportbrake will cost from £34,910 and is available to order now.
To help inspire the next generation of tennis talent, Jaguar is doing something that has never been done before, and is taking the famous men's singles trophy on a nationwide tour of clubs and schools. Murray and coach Jamie Delgado faced comedians Rob Brydon and Jimmy Carr in a contest streamed live online, with commentary by Tim Henman.
"The iconic Jaguar posters of the 1950s promised customers grace, pace and space", said Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design.
That's also why the car's called a Sportbrake rather than a wagon - to emphasize its flawless fit for those with an active lifestyle. This gives the vehicle a sense of speed and a very dynamic appearance.
Inside there's a new intuitive gesture-controlled sunblind for the Sportbrake's, panoramic roof, Driver Condition Monitoring to detect signs of tiredness after an active day and a waterproof Activity Key you can wear while playing sports. "As a result, I think it looks just as sporty as the saloon, if not more so".
