Creative Director, Michel Ancel, teary eyed and emotional, then took to the stage. We first reported on Beyond Good & Evil 2 in 2008 when it was little more than concept art and a cinematic trailer, and in the nine years since we've seen.not much else. It's clear that Ubisoft has taken into account that players of the first game will have aged too, as the rather childish Zelda like tone from the first game has been replaced by a more mature and M-rated tone.
Ubisoft Montpellier is inviting players to participate in the development of Beyond Good & Evil 2 through an initiative that it calls the Space Monkey Program. The version of Beyond Good & Evil 2 shown off at E3 this year is a completely different game.
We get to meet the colorful cast of the game, including Dakini, Knox, Li Daiyu, Shani, and Zhou Yuzhu, and witness some attractive locales, starships and vehicles.
Can't wait to get your hands on Beyond Good and Evil 2?
As you rise from lowly pirate to legendary captain, you'll traverse System 3 at light speed to explore freely on your own or with friends. While private enterprises exploit hybrid slave for domination over resources, System 3 colonists struggle to survive and give meaning to their existence by weaving together the diverse heritages of Old Earth. Along with dating known games like South Park: The Fractured But Whole, new Steep downloadable content and giving a better look at Far Cry 5, Ubisoft showcased that it has ambitious titles in the pipeline and quality releases coming soon.
But Beyond Good & Evil FINALLY has the prequel gamers have always been waiting for.
So as if dealing with bereavement, alcoholism and the trauma wrought by the first game's events, Castellanos must also decide if double-crosser Kidman can be trusted. One is having the user play the game solo so they can play the story alone.
The trailer is mostly set in Ganesha, which is expected to be one of several cities and outposts in the final game. In fact, the development team is asking for ideas and feedback from fans via the "Space Monkey Program". And, for years, we've been hearing about a potential sequel.
