Revealed last month, Ubisoft's The Crew 2 is going big or going home, if its full reveal at E3 2017 is anything to go by.
Turning its back on the hackneyed crime plots that tend to dog racing games with a story (hello, Need for Speed Payback), The Crew 2 is all about turning that map into a motorsports playground - with some surprising additions. You'll be able to use and race all of these vehicles across all of America and Ubisoft promises that the game will have a fully redesigned map for the U.S. meaning it'll feature more detailed landscapes and new types of places to explore. The ability to switch between vehicle types on the fly opens up whole new realms of exploration, whether you're flying through the Grand Canyon or motorbiking through the man-made canyons of New York City. From coast to coast, street and pro racers, off-road explorers, and freestylers gather and compete in all kinds of disciplines. Get the news you can use. Capture and share all of your best moments with the press of a button.
And with that, Beley reckons "it's time to take The Crew way beyond driving".
