Clemson Tigers to be honored at White House

The Clemson Football team will be arriving at the White House on Monday afternoon to celebrate last season's National Championship. The final game took place January 9, and the squad was applauded by the man who took office 11 days later.

Deshaun Watson and Carlos Watkins will join their former Clemson teammates at the White House on Monday, courtesy of Houston Texans owner Bob McNair.

Hunter Renfrow notably caught the game-winning touchdown pass with one second remaining to beat Alabama.

During the ceremony, Swinney presented the president with two Clemson jerseys - one for Trump and one for his youngest son, Barron. But then, a few minutes in, the President tossed in a weird little burn... to every single Clemson fan ever.

The team will take part in the tradition where teams who win pro or college titles get a visit to the White House.
