Some other developers will also be involved, the company says, mentioning partners that have already worked on Bethesda games, as well as "external creators", but each will have to go through an internal review process.
This cute video of kids explaining what their parents do for work kicked off the conference.
The Evil Within 2 was easily the most dreamlike presentation at Bethesda's E3 show, with a pre-rendered trailer showing protagonist Sebastian stumbling through a fantastical world to the strains of an "Ordinary World" cover. However, the event quickly transitioned to Doom and Fallout 4. See the trailer below to see how. Existing mods can not be retrofitted meaning "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition" and "Fallout 4" will have to be created internally.
After impressing audiences with The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and then the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Skyrim debuted to huge anticipation and then even bigger sales.
Creation Club is a curation of mods that will be navigable inside of Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4, with more games coming later.
The Creation Club will feature a variety of mods developed by Bethesda and "outside developers". The game is absolutely huge and, in a way, it's a new milestone for gaming. The first is that The Elder Scrolls Legends is coming to Android phones and iPhones in July. In spite of the missing "Special Edition" moniker, it is now clear that this is based off the remaster released past year (even if some concessions to the Switch's hardware may have had to be made in the process). It features a new playable character, Billie Lurk, and is described as "the ideal entry point for those new to the Dishonored series". The game is also now available in beta open 24/7. This game also has an October release date - October 27th. The Evil Within 2 follows 2014's survival horror game developed by Tango Gameworks.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is due out on October 27th.
Just a few hours after Microsoft unveils the new Xbox, the E3 spotlight shifts to Bethesda. Amazon is always a good option, thanks to nearly all $60 games going for $48 pre-release.
Live another life, in another world: Play any type of character you can imagine, and do whatever you want; the legendary freedom of choice, storytelling, and adventure of The Elder Scrolls is realized like never before. Currently, no further details about Doom VFR have been announced aside from some gameplay snippets shown during the show.
Twitch and YouTube are Bethesda's preferred forms of broadcast.
