Berger played a bogey-free round on Sunday, avoiding trouble on a fast, firm course at TPC Southwind.
Berger was 10 under for the tournament, one shot ahead of Charl Schwartzel and Whee Kim.
Jobe, who has never won on the senior tour, had a double-bogey on the par-3 ninth hole before rallying with six consecutive birdies.
Cink had a good start on Saturday, with birdies on three of his first five holes. Thompson started the day with a one-shot lead, led by four shots at the turn but stumbled on the back nine with four bogeys.
Stewart Cink is a shot back on eight-under with Ben Crane a further shot behind. Reavie is still in contention after shooting a 72 and is tied with Matt Jones and Kevin Chappell at 7-under, two shots behind the leaders.
Colombian Munoz stayed in the lead thanks to a three-under-par 67, while Schwartzel improved from fifth position after posting a 66. "I'm really proud of the way I played today".
The first-team All-American at Florida State was also informed that he moved up to 10th in the FedEx Cup standings, almost assuring himself of qualifying for the season-ending TOUR Championship. Playing out of the penultimate twosome, he mustered six (of 14) fairways and 11 greens in regulation, losing 0.554 strokes tee-to-green and 1.770 on-the-green.
Phil Mickelson briefly had a share of the lead but had triple bogey on No. 12, including a shot into the water.
The Irishman shot a second round of five-under and now trails the leaders by three shots going into the weekend.
"I'm four behind, so that's a lot to make up", Langer said. "It's just - I feel like I wasn't even on the golf course".
"I identified the problem and switched putters, thought about all the things I did as a junior".
Both of Berger's PGA Tour wins have come at TPC Southwind, where he finished 13 under en route to a three-shot victory previous year.
