Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus On The Way

Moments ago at their E3 Press Conference, Bethesda Softworks officially revealed their high anticipated first-person shooter called Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Much like the 2014 title, the games looks like it'll have a strong narrative focus, with several intense cutscenes shown in the trailer. All in all it runs over eight minutes, so continue below and enjoy!

The game will use the engine of id Tech 6, and will put us in the United States at a time when the country is under siege by the Nazis, who seek to recruit new leaders.

The game will be set in 1961's Nazi-controlled America. It certainly looks as though there will be plenty of twists and turns in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and lots of challenges for the Blazkowicz and the American resistance movement to overcome.

As in the previous games in the series, you'll be able to sneak around and dispatch Nazis sneakily, or dual-wield every weapon when you want to go loud.

The Wolfenstein series was successfully revived with The New Order, and its back in classic over the top fashion, with Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

The game will span Roswell, New Orleans, and a "post-nuclear Manhattan", according to Bethesda. Apart from the classics like machine guns and pistols, he will also have some high-tech weaponry available.

If Nazi-occupied America sounds familiar, you've probably been watching The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Video. Regardless of your playstyle, invent all-new ways of stabbing, shooting, and killing Nazis.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is scheduled to release on October 27, 2017, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The worldwide version of "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" is banned in Germany for its Nazi imagery.
