The game was announced at Microsoft's E3 conference with a new trailer.
Super Lucky's Tale is the latest in a recent mini-revival of 3D platformers, though neither the original Lucky's Tale or Playtonic's Yooka-Laylee blew us away previous year.
The charming fox Lucky won't just be trapped on virtual reality headsets anymore, as Super Lucky's Tale is coming to the Xbox One this November.
"Join Lucky, the ever-optimistic, energetic, and lovable hero on his quest to find his inner strength and help his beloved sister rescue the Book of Ages from Jinx", reads the announcement.
We reached out to Playful Corp and have yet to receive comment on possible VR support for Super Lucky's Tale. You can check out the trailers for each of these games for yourself below, and you can decide which ones you like for yourself. Super Lucky's Tales looks that not dissimilar to many of Rare's platformers of the 90's which can be found on Xbox One's Rare Replay.
