The 29-year-old was believed to be choosing between the Ravens and Bills, with whom he also visited on a two-day stay last week.
We have signed WR Jeremy Maclin to a two-year deal! "If they come here, or wherever they go, you want them to look back and say, 'I made the best decision of my life to do that'".
Entering his ninth National Football League season, Maclin has posted 474 receptions for 6,395 yards and 46 touchdowns in 102 career games (100 starts). Benjamin Watson and Maxx Williams are both coming off injuries, while Crockett Gillmore and Nick Boyle are relatively unproven.
Baltimore had one of the most unproven wide receiver groups in the National Football League before acquiring Maclin.
The Missouri product was taken in the first round by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2009 draft. As big of an addition as Maclin is, the Ravens are reportedly still interested in Eric Decker, who's available for trade. He entered the 2015 offseason as one of the hottest free agents on the market.
Maclin has twice produced 80-catch, 1,000-yard receiving seasons, doing so in 2014 (85 for 1,318) and in 2015 (87 for 1,088).
Baltimore had been putting in a bunch of effort to sign Maclin. Kansas City signed him to a lucrative six-year, $55 million deal, with $22.5 million guaranteed. He had a pretty disastrous 2016, catching only 44 passes for 536 yards and two touchdowns.
