E3 2017: Forza Motorsport 7 Revealed at Xbox's Conference

Porsche's fastest-ever 911 has broken cover at the annual E3 gaming expo, where the new model took centre stage as the feature auto for the latest Forza Motorsport racing game.

FM7, is that a thing? There are more than 700 cars in the game. If you're a vehicle person, that probably rules. The previous vehicle sported a six-speed manual transmission, but like the current Turbo S, the new GT2 RS should only feature the latest iteration of Porsche's PDK dual-clutch transmission.

Forza 7 will release this autumn, on October 3.

As for online gameplay, there are going to be brand new leagues, spectating tools and Mixer integration.

At their press briefing this evening, Microsoft debuted Forza Motorsport 7.

On Xbox One X, Forza Motorsport 7 will run in native 4K at 60fps, with support for HDR. Throughout the race weather will change and with it the track.

As for the game, Forza Motorsport 7 will serve as the marquee technical showcase for Microsoft's 4K-ready Xbox One X (née Project Scorpio).

Turn 10 Studios said this will be the most realistic, technically advanced racing game "ever created".

Other headline features include full driver customisation, which allows you to create as garish a race suit and helmet as your fevered imagine can conjure, 30 global locations to race in and over 700 cars crammed into the game at launch.
