Wonder Woman has had many enemies over the years. But the reason for the tears is actually handsome.
This is the first time the female superhero has ever made it to the big screen in a solo film, having starred in TV films in 1974 and 2009.
Wonder Woman is now out in theaters. This report was in fact a throwaway line in a much larger THR story on the making of the film, noting that Jenkins has an option to return, but given that THR usually isn't one to throw around "news" like that willy nilly it seemed reputable enough. All in all, it sounds like a great time to be Patty Jenkins (and a fan of Wonder Woman).
In another interview she was asked, "In the next solo movie would you want it to be set in modern day or somewhere in the 100 years prior?"
Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg & Geoff Johns, story by Heinberg & Zack Snyder and Jason Fuchs, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner and David Thewlis.
Among all live-action features in June, Wonder Woman owns the fourth best Monday after Jurassic World ($25.3M), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ($14.9M) and Man of Steel ($12.6M). Pictures, actress Gal Gadot and actress Lynda Carter attend the premiere of Warner Bros.
The thing that really makes the DC superhero Wonder Woman special to me is that she is strong and attractive on the inside. "So we added her seeing the horses being whipped".
"The story will take place in the U.S., which I think is right".
Though she's not technically attached, Jenkins has already expressed some interest in coming back for the sequel when Warner Bros. gets it off the ground, so it sounds like both sides are open to playing ball. Director Patty even joked that she would now be able to tell Gal's three-month-old daughter Maya that she was in her mother's stomach while they shot a battle sequence.
"I just wanted to take a moment and thank you", Gadot starts out in the video.
