JEE Advanced result 2017: Sarvesh Mehtani is All India topper

The answer keys of the exam were released on June 4 and the organising IITs said that all students will be awarded 11 bonus marks for three "ambiguous" questions that were asked in the JEE (Advanced) paper.
A total of over 2 lakh students had given the JEE Advanced exam in 2017 who are awaiting their result as of now. Over 1.7 lakh students were eagerly waiting for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced results.
Mehtani secured the All India Rank of 1 in the JEE (Advanced), which is held for admission to all the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM) in Jharkhand's Dhanbad.
Successful candidates will be able to check the counselling details on the official website of JoSAA (Join Seat Allocation Authority). The exam was conducted in two shifts at more than 500 centres across the country. Students who attend both Paper 1 and paper 2 can check their results via text messages. The examination consisted of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Almost 2 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was held in 500 different centres across the country.
Online registration of JEE Advanced begins a day after JEE Main results are declared.
The candidates are required to score minimum marks in each subject as well as aggregate to be considered for inclusion in JEE Advanced rank list.
