Galaxy C10 - the first Samsung smartphone with dual camera

While the Galaxy Note 8 has always been rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, a new rumor suggests that it will be the first phone to sport the Snapdragon 836 chipset inside.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8's newly leaked render was shared on Twitter.

If that were to happen, it would mean speeds of 2.5GHz for the primary cores, compared to the 2.45GHz available on the Snapdragon 835.

Similar to last year, where the incremental successor of Snapdragon 820 processor, Snapdragon 821 made to the 2016's Google Pixel and Pixel XL, this year too, Snapdragon 836 will likely feature in Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Elsewhere, recent goss' has suggested the Note 8 will have a truly bezel-less display, but will lack an in-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, the enhanced SoC will feature a GPU running at 740MHz.

The report notes the Snapdragon 836 chipset would be a slightly improved version of the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is the latest and the greatest mobile chipset Qualcomm is now offering.

Samsung will be desperate to ensure the Galaxy Note 8 is a return to form for the series, which sparked a crisis at the Korean firm.

Evan Blass reveal that the shiny blue color will be coming with the Samsung Galaxy S8 to the United States soon.
