IMac Pro The Most Powerful Mac Ever Arrives This December

The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro features Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz, and the 15-inch MacBook Pro goes up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz. Key highlights included the all-new iMac Pro, iPad Pro, and MacBook devices. Unfortunately for those planning on picking up one of these accessories, they're only going to be available to customers who shell out at least $4,999 Dollars for the actual iMac Pro.

iMac Pro is scheduled to ship in December starting at $4,999 (US). All MacBook models now come with Intel Kaby Lake processors.

After unveiling the refreshed iMac desktops and MacBook Pro, AMD's Senior Vice President and Chief Architect disclosed the benchmark to the public. The iMac Pro tops it with an 18-core Intel Xeon processor, 16GB AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64 GPU, up to 128GB of RAM, and up to 4TB SSD. The iMac Pro is truly an astounding, aesthetic device which offers you an awesome performance and an incredible display. For the first time ever on a Mac, iMac Pro features 10Gb Ethernet for up to 10 times faster networking. The high-end 27-inch 5K model is equipped with a Radeon Pro 580 with 8GB of RAM - enough horsepower for VR content creation.

Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro was announced in 2015. The new iPad Pro that's available in the USA today offers a new customizable dock for your apps that blurs the line with this common 0macOS feature.

While a standard LCD display offers 60Hz refresh rate, the new iPad Pro offers 120Hz.

The new iPad also boasts the same camera you get with the iPhone 7, a 12-megapixel offering with optical image stabilization, as well as a 7-megapixel HD FaceTime camera.

Maxon's Cinebench R15 graphics test is a bit old by now, but the 27-inch iMac with the upgraded AMD graphics card hit 105.8 frames per second in OpenGL which is quick, and an impressive 592 in the CPU test.
