Starting at $4,999, its the most expensive and powerful computer Apple has made.
Apple also promised performance of up to 22 teraflops. But that will likely cost extra on the new MacBook Pro. All SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster while Thunderbolt 3 is onboard as well.
Apple is said to put most of its focus on the MacBook Pro 2017.
The iMac Pro won't be the only Apple device getting discrete graphics. Touch Bar-equipped 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models start at $1,799 and $2,399, respectively. The 21.5 inch iMac, 21.5 inches iMac Retina 4k at $1,099 While, iMac Retina 5k 27-inch begins at $1,799.
Apple has used its WWDC 2017 keynote to unveil the iMac Pro. Although the spec bumps and slashed prices were welcome, it was the unexpected iMac Pro that really stole the show. "We're also increasing CPU and SSD speed on MacBook, adding faster processors and making faster graphics standard on our 15-inch MacBook Pro and introducing a new $1,299 (US) 13-inch MacBook Pro".
Apple's 21.5-inch iMac 2017, which has a full HD resolution display and the latest Intel 7th generator i5 processor, is priced at Rs 90,900. Both versions get support for additional base storage, paired with 3 USB Type-C dual Thunderbolt ports. What do you guys think of the iMac Pro?.In addition to the new iMac Pro, Apple is working on a completely redesigned, next-generation Mac Pro® architected for pro customers who need the highest-end, high-throughput system in a modular design, as well as a new high-end pro display. It features an Intel Kaby Lake processor, dubbed the Core i7, running at 3.5 gigahertz with turbo boost up to 4.0 GHz.
Here's a demo of the new MacBook Pro 13-inch model.
The display for the setup remains the same, the 5K Retina monitor, which is the highest in Apple's lineup and will now be output an huge graphic performance - thanks to the new AMD Radeon Vega graphics GPU.
The iPad pro also features a screen refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, which should make for faster scrolling and graphics display. Unless Apple somehow prevents people from buying the Space Gray Magic Trackpad 2 unless they have an iMac Pro, we could see the Space Gray Magic Trackpad 2 as a purchasable accessory.
