HomePod also has a 4-inch woofer that uses dynamic software modeling to eliminate distortion as the volume is cranked up. It marks the first time the technology giant is making its own products more accountable to itself.
Apple also announced its HomePod speaker at WWDC.
There are six microphones in HomePod, so it can handle voice commands - even when it's playing music - through Apple's digital assistant Siri.
Speaking of Macs, Apple also showed off new iMac models with a host of new configurations. These factors make in-home assistants a awful market for Apple to generate meaningful profits from, in our view. At $349 it's priced substantially higher than the $175 Echo and $129 Google Home. These were some of the Software announcements made by Apple at the WWDC 2017 event. New iMacs released Monday are getting better displays and graphics capabilities.
Apple also brought file system and virtual reality (VR) to High Sierra. In this post, however, we're going to highlight two features in particular that will be nothing short of game-changers for Apple and its user base.
It features autoplay block that detects websites that automatically play videos. It's part of Apple's effort to entice professionals with tablets that can handle many tasks previously reserved for laptops.
Apple Pay will now let you, er, pay pals... it's peer-to-peer meaning you can send money to friends easily, for example when splitting a restaurant bill - and you can even request cash from inside the Messages app.
