Powerball jackpot $375 million for Wednesday's drawing

One lucky person could become a multi-millionaire after Wednesday night's Powerball drawing. The record for the largest lottery prize won in MI belongs to Donald Lawson who won $337 million in 2012.

The odds of winning any prize in the drawing: 1 in 24.87. The jackpot would be the 12 largest in the history of Powerball, which started in April 1992.

Powerball officials said that jackpot prize has a cash value of $235.4 million.

If a MI player wins tonight's $375 million jackpot, it would be the largest Powerball prize won in the state.

Last year, a Pearlie Mae Smith of Trenton and her seven adult children shared a $429.6 million Powerball jackpot.

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 10:59 p.m. ET, tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET to be eligible for this drawing. The odds of winning $1 million - awarded for having all five numbers, without the Powerball - are 1 in 11,688,054.

Powerball tickets are sold in 44 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
