Samsung unveils a premium J-series line-up for 2017

As far as specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display that comes with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The J3 will cost buyers $245, the J5 will come with a price tag of $279 and the J7 will be available for a price of $382. It will have a larger 5.2-inch display, along with an octa-core 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of onboard storage, again with a microSD card for adding more storage space.

Specialist website Galaxy Club reports that Samsung's upcoming flagship, the eagerly awaited Galaxy Note 8, is now being tested ahead of official unveiling later this year at the IFA tech fair in Berlin, September 1-6, 2017. Powered by a 1.6Ghz processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage, this new phone will be powered by the sturdy 3000mAh battery while the software is Android Nougat.

The Galaxy J3 2017 has a 5-inch 1280x720p display. The storage memory can also be expanded via a microSD card. The new Galaxy J7 (2017) runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 3600mAh battery for long standby time and talk time.

On the other hand, the Galaxy J5 houses nearly the same hardware, but differs in two aspects -the screen and battery. However, it has 13MP rear as well as front camera and packs a bigger 3600mAh battery.

The device comes with a 13MP Rear camera with autofocus and 5MP Front Facing Camera along with two USB 3.1 Type C ports supported with a Micro SD slot of upto 256 GB. It is also expected to have a fingerprint reader and ship with a stylus.
