New MacBook Pro 2017 Range Gets Official

What really makes it stand out, however, is the computing power that Apple has stuffed in this slim AiO chassis - "up to 18-Core Processors, 22 Teraflops of GPU Performance, Fast Storage and Advanced I/O". And an all-new thermal design is said to deliver up to 80 percent more cooling capacity in the same thin and seamless iMac design. The iMac also comes with Thunderbolt 3 port.

The good news, then, is that the standard iMac has been given a welcome update. But the headline is the 21.5-inch iMac includes a 4K Display for $200 less than the previous generation.

As for prices, while the entry level, relatively more affordable 21.5-inch iMac will set you back by $1,299, you will need to pay $200 more for the 4K version of the model in the same screen size.

The iMac Retina 5K 27-inch will have a Radeon Pro 570, 575, or 580 and up to 8GB VRAM.

As well as launching a new range of Apple iMac desktop computers, Apple has also unveiled its new range of MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. Apple has also updated its 13-inch MacBook Air with a 1.8 GHz processor.

The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro features Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0GHz, and the 15-inch MacBook Pro goes up to 3.1GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz. The 15-inch MacBook Pro now comes standard with more powerful discrete graphics with more video memory, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro adds a new S$1,898 configuration.

It's not the promised Mac Pro re-reboot, but Apple hopes it's the next best thing - the company today said the new iMac Pro workstation, billed as the most powerful Mac released to date, will ship in December, starting at $4,999.

"We're thrilled to give developers and customers a sneak peek at iMac Pro". Moreover, Radeon Pro 500 series provides accelerated performance for the Radeon™ ProRender photorealistic ray-tracing rendering technology which is enabled for Autodesk® Maya®, and Maxon's Cinema 4D. "We re-engineered the whole system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance into the elegant, quiet iMac enclosure our customers love". All the models take upgrades to Intel's 7 Generation kaby Lake Processors.

The iMac Pro supports the CPU and GPU processing power with other choice components.

The standard Macbook still retained its USA $1299 starting price while the Macbook Pro starts at United States $1299 for the 13-inch (with 128GB SSD) while the 15-inch MacBook Pro starts at U.S. $2399.

The Surface desktop is posing some serious competition for Apple, and now we know what Apple thinks of it: look out, Surface, there's more powerful iMac coming. For the first time ever on a Mac, iMac Pro features 10Gb Ethernet for up to 10 times faster networking. They changed the performance into the handsome, quiet iMac enclosure.
