LeBron James didn't even want to think about the answer to that question in the immediate aftermath.
There are a handful of technical things the Cavaliers can do to get back in the series: They need to find a way to harness Golden State's lethal transition game, they need to find a comfortably quick pace that doesn't play in the strength of the Warriors and they have to hope JR Smith, Kyle Korver, Tristan Thompson and Deron Williams do something of note. He looks more like a two-time MVP than the hobbled player he was in last year's Finals.
Want your voice heard? It didn't feel any different as far as play calls and things we need to do.
But this year's Warriors are deeper and more diversely talented than last year's Warriors. So playing an unbelievably good, competitive team, dominant team. Golden State remains ideal in this postseason, and with a record-setting 14-0 playoff record this year they're doing something very, very special. "So it's good to have him back over there". He told reporters that he had his reasons for avoiding the podium, but it "has nothing to do with wins and losses".
Cleveland coach Tyron Lue did demand some physicality from his men after the frightful drubbing suffered by the Cavs in the opening match of the NBA Finals. "For us, just see the weak side action and be able to make the passes". The Cavs have to get more movement on offense to help Kyrie get into a rhythm. Golden State lost all four of its Game 3s previous year, including a 120-90 shellacking by the Cavaliers in the Finals.
"Defensively, now he has to do a lot more", Cavs coach Ty Lue said.
"We have to figure out a way to get him going early". "I'm just strengthening my mind and getting my mind ready and focused on what (June 7) is going to bring".
"We have a locomotive out there", forward Kevin Love said of James. He had only four rebounds in Game 2, which was better than his scoreless four-rebound performance in Game 1. The Warriors, meanwhile, finished fourth and second, respectively.
LeBron knows that this team is different because of KD and he made that statement well known to the media. "My guys did OK while I was gone", Kerr joked to NBA.com before the game, referring to interim coach Mike Brown's ideal playoff record. "But they're a team you cannot - you can't let them go on runs".
In a mouth-watering match up of two talent-stacked rosters, the Warriors again showed they had the greater firepower, thanks largely to the addition of Kevin Durant since they lost last season's finals series to the Cavaliers.
