Writing on Instagram, the star said: "So happy to see that last night's concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails".
Broadcasters and services in more than 50 territories watched the concert, which singer Ariana Grande put together after a terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester last month.
One Love Manchester offered a time to remember the Manchester victims and to mourn for them and for the negative effects the tragedy will have on its survivors.
'Ariana Grande has inspired people up and down the country with her selfless acts of kindness, ' the petition's creator, Matthew Duggan, explained. If Ariana Grande is gifted with Damehood, fans will definitely be pleased. The iconic tune was her grandfather Frank's favourite, and before he passed away in 2014 he lobbied the singer to include it on one of her albums.
The 23-year-old shared pictures of herself on the stage laughing along with Miley Cyrus, singing with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and hugging a young singer from the Parrs Wood school choir. "Stay strong and united, because only through that love can we help each other heal". All of the proceeds from the benefit concert will be given to the foundation handling the victims of the terror attack. Thank you again Manchester and thank you Ari! The performers have also posted photos and videos of the big event on their own accounts.
'She didn't need to return to Manchester but tonight she did and brought the nation to tears and for that I feel she should be granted Freedom of the City of Manchester'.
Since the attack on Ariana's concert at the Manchester Arena staggering $12 million (€10.6 million) has been raised by members of the public.
