Katy Perry dedicates her One Love Manchester outfit to victims

During Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert filled with numerous biggest names in music, it was a British policeman who captured everyone's heart with a simple act exemplifying the city's resilience in the face of terror.

Ariana Grande has earned widespread praise for organising the One Love Manchester concert. A surprise appearance from Oasis" Liam Gallagher saw the singer perform a rendition of "Live Forever' with Coldplay before throwing his tambourine into the crowd.

Ariana Grande closed her One Love Manchester concert on Sunday (04Jun17) with Somewhere Over the Rainbow as a tribute to her late grandfather.

Miley Cyrus also praised Ariana - who she dueted with on "Don't Dream It's Over" - for her work on the concert.

Grande appeared several times throughout, also joining the Parrs Wood High School Choir on stage for an emotional take on My Everything.

At least £10million has been generated for the Manchester Emergency Fund as a result of the concert with more money still flooding in.

The terrorist bombing after Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman concert at the Manchester Arena that resulted in the death of 22 people and injury of countless others left Ariana understandably shaken.

"It's not easy to always choose love, is it?" she asked the crowds.

The Red Cross said Sunday's concert headlined by Grande was shown in 50 nations and streamed via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. "We love you so much, to the families we love you so much". The event took place at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground. "Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before". The pop singer visited young fans injured in the attack at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital on Friday.
