Crowded House Classic Performed At One Love Manchester Benefit

Ariana Grande paid tribute to the city of Manchester, England, on Sunday with an energetic, all-star concert that raised millions for victims of a suicide bombing that tore through her last performance in the city almost two weeks ago.

Ariana's visit brought a wellspring of emotions from both her fans and the families who've been affected by the tragedy.

Grande herself was overcome by emotion throughout the show which came less than 24 hours after seven people were killed and 48 injured in a terror attack in London.

That brings the total raised by the British Red Cross' "We Love Manchester Emergency Fund" to almost $13 million.

Last week, a press release said Usher would be taking the stage in addition to Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Katy Perry, Take That and Pharrell Williams.

The stunning concert helped raise over £2m for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, taking the total amount raised since the terror attack past the £10m mark. The concert was confirmed last week on a Twitter post by the singer.

In her first full statement after the attack, Grande announced plans to return to Manchester, expressing her deepest condolences and urging people not to let hate divide them.

Some 450,000 people donated about $3.5 million during the benefit concert, which Ariana Grande organized.

"I encourage you to choose love even when it's hard".

"This is the part of me that you're never ever gonna take away from me", said Perry. One was Grande's highly talked-about performance of her song "My Everything" with the local Parrs Wood High School choir.

The fans also sang some of Grande's songs and wrote messages paying homage to the victims.

'Before we go any further, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being here today, ' she said.

Cyrus followed the passionate speech with an equally poignant and emotional performance of the lovely song that features nothing more than her voice, a simple acoustic guitar and heartwarming lyrics about how when life's struggles get her down, her dad is always there to inspire hope.
