Apple announces two new iPad Pros

More importantly, the new iPad Pros introduced by Apple this year sport a almost all-screen and a almost no-bezel design, hinting at things to come in the days to come.

The iPad Pro now supports an even deeper integration with the Apple Pencil with support for inline drawing to write along text in Notes and Mail, Instant Markup to easily sign documents, add notes to PDFs or draw on screenshots, and a new Instant Notes feature, which opens Notes from the Lock Screen by simply tapping Apple Pencil on the display.

Apple refreshed its 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but also ditched the older 9.7-inch iPad Pro size and stretched it out to a slightly bigger 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which replaces the 9.7-inch version. Apple says this is ideal for the Apple Pencil because it's more responsive and drops the latency rate to 20 milliseconds.

The stunning, redesigned Retina display in iPad Pro features ProMotion, a new technology that delivers refresh rates of up to 120Hz for fluid scrolling, greater responsiveness and smoother motion content. The all-new iMac Pro, with its 27-inch Retina 5K display, up to 18-core Xeon processors and up to 22 Teraflops of graphics computation, is the most powerful Mac ever made.

Inside, the iPad Pro receives an improved camera, with Apple throwing the same 12-megapixel sensor from the iPhone 7 with f/1.8 aperture into their new slate, alongside optical image stabilization and quad-LED True Tone flash.

An embedded Apple SIM2 and support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi and LTE Advanced3 make it easier to stay connected when traveling in more than 180 countries and regions. The new iPad Pros, will meanwhile, be available for buying in India later this month. Step one, pick up your Apple Pencil.

The iPad Air and Air 2; the iPad Mini 2, 3, and 4; the fifth-generation iPad; and all iPad Pros. Both variants will come in four color options - Space grey, Rose gold, Gold and Silver. The new iPad starts at $649 and shipping will begin from next week. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is available in silver, space gray and gold and starts at US$799 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model and US$929 for the 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The Smart Keyboard is available in charcoal gray for US$159 for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro and US$169 for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with layouts for over 30 languages, including simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.
