Apple Announces 10.5 Inch iPad Pro With Thin Borders At WWDC 2017

The feature, announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) now taking place in California, comes after a number of lawsuits in North America where drivers distracted by their phones have been involved in life-changing crashes.

The iPad Pro also features the same front- and back-facing cameras as iPhone 7, including a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, along with a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera.

The feature, called "Do Not Disturb While Driving", will be part of Apple's iOS 11, a new version of the operating software for Apple mobile devices.

The new iPad Pros won't of course boot with iOS 11 out-of-the-box if you buy them right now because the update is expected to land on devices sometime later this fall which means around September.

"These are by far the most powerful iPads we've ever created with the world's most advanced displays featuring ProMotion, the powerful new A10X Fusion chip and the advanced camera system of iPhone 7", Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of Product Marketing said.

Apple has introduced a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro and a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, featuring displays with ProMotion technology and the new A10X Fusion chip.

Instead of voice-only interactions, users will now be able to type to talk to Siri, in the same way they talk to Google Assistant. iOS 11 also brings translations to Siri, with support for Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages.

Apple is introducing The Dock for the iPad Pro which now supports the addition of different apps and pans across the display.

Money received can be used for purchasing Apple services or you can send funds to a bank account.

WWDC 2017: Apple unveiled the all-new App Store, designed from the ground up to make discovering apps and games easier.

This new feature is available across the system, allowing users to move text, photos and files from one app to another, anywhere on the screen. Users can also easily switch between apps, or simply drag an application out in split-screen. A searchable handwriting feature makes it easy to search for handwritten text or characters using machine learning. The Pencil now also allows you to sign documents, annotate PDFs or draw on screenshots. Both variants will come in four color options - Space grey, Rose gold, Gold and Silver.

The new iPad features a 10.5-inch (2224x1668) LED-backlit Multi-Touch display which is 20 percent larger than the 9.7-inch model. "Step three, start writing", according to Apple.
