The Nashville Predators posted a huge 5-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. 17,283 inside and a crowd estimated at over 30,000 outside, watching the game on screens set up on Broadway. The Penguins can still put a stranglehold on the series by winning Game 4 and setting up a clinching scenario in Game 5.
And after so much criticism over the first two games, veteran netminder Pekka Rinne stood tall in net for Nashville and actually got a curtain call as one of the three stars on the night.
Odds: Penguins (+115) and Predators (-137), according to Oddsshark. Sending a message for next game? Yes, he got the win, but he looked a little "off". Kessel jumped into the fray and without dropping his gloves or stick, earned an instigator penalty that was uncalled. They did a great job late in keeping control of a potential powder keg that could've exploded easiy.
