Ticket sales company Ticketmaster announced that 14,200 free tickets would be set aside for those who attended Grande's Manchester Arena show, where the tragedy took place.
The singer is officially back on United Kingdom soil after being seen disembarking a private jet on Friday June 2 ready to begin rehearsals for the concert set to take place at Manchester's Old Trafford on June 4.
In a statement, it said: "At Ticketmaster we are doing everything we can - including extending today's deadline - to ensure that tickets go to the actual fans and not the opportunists or touts who have also been applying for free tickets".
The pop star organised the One Love Manchester concert as a tribute to the victims of last week's terrorist attack, which left 22 dead in an explosion after Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena.
Held at Manchester's Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, the concert will feature performances from Grande, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and more.
Three more massive worldwide acts have joined the One Love Manchester benefit concert headed up by Ariana Grande on Sunday 4 June.
A Ticketmaster spokeswoman said: 'Sadly, over 10,000 unscrupulous applications have been made'.
Adding, "It was unsurprisingly met with remarkable demand for One Love Manchester tickets we had on sale this morning-140,000 fans were on the website and our call center was buzzing".
Find it quite disgusting at people who are trying to sell tickets on eBay for one love Manchester????
All proceeds from the gig will go straight to the We Love Manchester emergency fund.
All the tickets sold out in under 20 minutes.
Those who were at the original concert have been offered free tickets, while the the remainder went on sale for 52 United States dollars.
The Ticketmaster page requested that "concert-goers do not attend with bags" for "speed of entry".
