OH gas prices rise but remain lower than national average

The national average has increased 1.9 cents per gallon. over the past month and 0.5 cents per gallon over the past year.

According to GasBuddy, Average retail gasoline prices in New Haven have not moved in the past week, averaging $2.48/g Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 229 gas outlets in New Haven.

Gas prices on Sunday were 26.4 cents per gallon higher than the same time past year, but 1.8 cents lower than a month ago. Chattanooga gas prices averaged 38 cents per gallon less than the US average and were a dime per gallon below the statewide average in Tennessee. "Prices have seen little change and as we continue to progress into the summer, we're seeing gas prices now roughly the same as a year ago in many places".

Gas prices statewide have risen by about 7 cents per gallon in the past week, AAA Michigan said.

While Tampa saw the biggest increase, West Palm Beach-Boca Raton and Miami and Fort Lauderdale have the highest gas prices at $2.45 and $2.39.

There was a range of 20 cents, from a low of $2.24 per gallon of self-serve, regular to a high of $2.44. "Oil and wholesale prices weakened last week, which should allow gas prices to slip a few cents".
