Here's a lowdown on all the major announcements that we can expect from the 28th installment of Apple's WWDC 2017 conference to be held in San Jose, California.
Apple's WWDC 2017 key note will start at 10:30pm IST on Monday.
Apple is also expected to discontinue the iPad Mini tablets, indicating a focus shift on the new 10.5-inch tablets. Leaked documents have previously hinted at an augmented reality project at Apple. For those who have an Apple device streaming is much easier as Apple uses its own HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology which can be used on devices like an iPhone, iPad and MacBook. Apple did confirm new iMacs are coming in 2017 it is was not said when they will be announced. At such a time, Apple is still a bit behind the curve, offering just the traditional per-title rental options through the iTunes store.
Apple WWDC 2017: What time is the keynote event and where is it taking place? Announcing such a move at WWDC makes sense, because it's all about getting developers enthusiastic about the changing track-the tvOS relies heavily on developer support.
If you are looking to buy a new laptop, then I suggest you wait until 5th June. The 9.7-inch version was released earlier this year so maybe the rest of the range will get updated too? It is expected to be a very incremental update unless Apple surprises us all with a complete overhaul. This puts the MacBooks at a bit of a disadvantage.
MacBook fans may also get the chance to get a new line of MacBook soon. This is perhaps necessary to keep pace with the Windows ecosystem of laptops and convertibles, but will surely annoy those adopters who have already purchased the current generation MacBook. Kuo is also of the opinion that the next iPad version will have a larger 10.5-inch display, while still maintaining the same form factor as the 9.7-inch iPad. The MacBook Air is said to be one of those devices.
We have not heard much about the upgrade but we have heard an upgrade to the MacBook family of products. Apple is also likely to unveil a new Siri-enabled speaker, refreshes for its MacBooks and MacBook Pros, and a new model of iPad Pro. It will also launch a 12-inch MacBook with better and faster Intel chip and also a MacBook Air also with a better processor. The new device would improve on its predecessor's CPU mainly, and come with the latest Intel seventh-generation processor, which is based on the Kaby Lake architecture. The iMac desktop line is in need of an update since not must has changed since the last update in 2015.
