What I told Barcelona board before leaving - Dani Alves

Alves will line up for Max Allegri's Juventus when they face Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid in the final at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

As reported by The Daily Mail, Chelsea are interested in signing Juventus defender Dani Alves this summer.

The Daily Mail claims that Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign the Brazil global and Antonio Conte is interested in a shock move for the former Barcelona star.

Chelsea are on the lookout for big-name signings to provide extra competition for places in Conte's squad, and the ex-Juventus boss is supposedly keen on adding Alves to his right wing-back options in a bid to up Victor Moses' desire and form ahead of the new campaign.

Chelsea will look to defend their top-flight crown next season and also launch a charge on the Champions League trophy - which the club have won just once in 2012 - after spending the past season out of Europe's elite competition.

Alves, who turned 34 last month, still has one year remaining on his current contract with the Serie A champions.

"I don't care about the opinions of Dani Alves or the Juventus fans, now he's more of a Juventino than them all", he told Cadena SER.

Manchester City were linked due to the presence of his former Barcelona Coach Pep Guardiola, while Spurs were also mentioned in the British media.
