ABC NEWS- London police responded tonight to reports of a vehicle plowing into pedestrians on London Bridge, and then shortly afterwards also faced reports of stabbings at Borough Market and another incident in the Vauxhall area.
The drivers reportedly got off the van to stab people in the nearby Borough Market area of bars and restaurants.
UPDATE as of 4:19 p.m. MDT: (CNN) - A van mowed down pedestrians as it sped down London Bridge on Saturday night, leaving bodies lying in the roadway, a witness to the incident told CNN. Roberts witnessed multiple victims ("five or six"), who were not moving, on the ground.
"We believe three people were involved, but we still have got some more inquiries to do to be 100 percent confident in that", he said.

Witnesses said that soon after the van incident on the London Bridge, a knife-wielding man started charging towards a bar packed with people, reported AFP. It said later the third one at Vauxhall was not related to the two previous incidents.
It is at this point that armed officers confronted the three male suspects, who were shot and killed in Borough Market.
Police tweeted a warning telling people in the area to run to safety, hide and then call police if it is safe to do so.
"Horrified by the events in London", Conservative leader Andrew Scheer said in a tweet. "I'm a passionate believer in democracy and making sure that we vote and we recognise actually that one of the things these terrorists hate is voting, they hate democracy", he said.
The trio were shot dead by the police at the scene.
Multiple news agencies have confirmed reports of knife-wielding attackers at nearby Borough Market thereafter, but authorities have not released detailed information about the alleged incident.
The Royal Oak pub, near the attack site, opened its doors to people evacuated from hotels inside the area cordoned off by police.
It was not clear who might be responsible for the attack.
Today's were the third terror attack to strike the United Kingdom this year, after a man drove a auto into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge in March and the bomb attack on an Ariana Grande concert in manchester two weeks ago.
Britain raised its terror threat to the highest level of "critical" and deployed troops on the streets on May 23, a day after the Manchester suicide attack. In March, four people were killed in London after Khalid Masood rammed his auto into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, before fatally stabbing a policeman outside the Houses of Parliament.
