London Bridge Closed Following Reports That Vehicle Plowed Into Pedestrians

Britain's Press Association news agency says members of the public were told to run away as fast as they could from the area, which is filled with restaurants and pubs.
He said that the van struck people on London Bridge around 10:00 p.m. local time on Saturday and continued to Borough Market where a number of people were stabbed by the assailants, including an on-duty British Transport Police officer who responded to the incident at London Bridge.
Police believe that the three people shot and killed by police were the only perpetrators of Saturday's attack.
Downing Street says Prime Minister Theresa May in contact with officials and is being updated on London Bridge incident.
Shortly after the acts of violence took place, Metropolitan Police classified them as terror attacks.
Armed police and emergency vehicles were earlier dispatched to the London Bridge, where there were unconfirmed reports of bodies lying on the ground, The Independent reported.
At the Borough Market, where there are reports of multiple stabbings, people were forced to take cover under the tables in a resturant as a man entered and stabbed two people. The patrons sheltered in the basement until police arrived.
Witnesses have also relayed news of possible gunfire on London Bridge, although those details have not been confirmed.
Many others were treated at the scene for less serious injuries, the ambulance service said.
A few minutes later Trump tweeted a message of support for Londoners: "Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U".
British parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held Thursday. It replaced a 19th-century stone-arched bridge that was relocated to Lake Havasu, AZ. The attack came less than two weeks after a suicide bomber Salman Abedi blew himself up at a concert in Manchester on May 22, killing at least 22.
