England's top order crumbled to 20 for six wickets in five overs as they were dismissed for a modest total of 153 before the Proteas cruised to a seven-wicket victory for a consolation triumph after the hosts won the first two matches of the series.
"We were bowled out for 84 in that practice game against India. The players play as per the situation and professional players are like that without worrying about anything else", he added.
"Let's not forget that Pakistan has got less to lose than India, who face more expectation being the defending champions".
"Jonny Bairstow will miss out unfortunately - it's been the case for the last couple of years", said Morgan, who explained England are determined to stick with players through thick and thin to help breed confidence in the attacking but high-risk approach to batting which has paid off since the 2015 World Cup.
Heaping praise on the Indian players, Fleming said: "I watched these players recently in the Indian Premier League".
India won the last Champions Trophy in 2013 and head into the marquee event as favourites after a hugely successful home season with 10 Test wins.
India will play their next two matches at The Oval, against the Sri Lankans on June 8 and then South Africa on June 11.
"You know, 84 obviously doesn t look good", said Mortaza.
The Group A also includes Australia and New Zealand. And in both the games, India managed to bundle out the opposition inside 40 overs. "Even Dinesh Karthik used the opportunity against Bangladesh brilliantly", said Laxman. I am very impressed with the way Shikhar Dhawan batted in both the games.
"You cannot reach out or play the shots away from your body and so it's also important to assess the conditions, not only the pitch conditions but also the weather conditions which can change dramatically during the day", he added. When asked about the importance of the tournament Laxman differed from his former teammate's comment.
Bangladesh threatened the same punishment in its first one-day worldwide on English soil in seven years by producing its highest score against England, and the eighth-best total in trophy history, 40 runs more than its previous best.
Laxman also named his four semi-finalists of the tournament.
It is against England that Bangladesh begin their Champions Trophy campaign, on Thursday, and while Tamim understood the heft of the challenge ahead of them, he wanted his team to draw from the good memories of their recent past. Find us on Facebook too!
