At least 6 people killed in London terror incidents; 3 attackers killed

It later emerged that three suspects had then left the vehicle, believed to be a hired van, and started to attack people at random in the street with knives.

Armed officers, responding to the first calls about the incident made at 10.08pm, confronted the three men, shooting them dead at Borough Market.

Another witness said a masked man entered El Pastor restaurant down the street and slashed a woman in the side with a knife.

He said: "I was going, 'Everybody, run - they're terrorists! terrorists! they're killing everybody!' and they're going, 'This is for Allah, ' and they're just running around".

British Transport Police say that one of its officers was seriously injured in the incident. "America stands with the people of Great Britain and the victims of the #LondonBridge attack", tweeted Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Vowls said he was throwing chairs, glasses and bottles at the attackers in a bid to stop them.

In his picture, a man wearing combat pants, with a shaved head and the canister belt, could be seen on the ground with two more bodies behind him.
