Wonder Woman premieres in China to good reviews

Wonder Woman, long since a DC comic book and television icon, could have landed safely and impactfully just by being decent.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. If this woman were running for any office at all, she would have my vote, writes Kurt Loder.

Wonder Woman is out now. When she made her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, I thought it was a peculiar choice and I didn't really care for her, but after seeing Wonder Woman I've done a complete 180°.

Now a new profile about Jenkins from the Hollywood Reporter revealed that both Jenkins and Gadot are contracted to make Wonder Woman 2 should Warner Bros. decide to make it-and honestly, at this point, that seems like a given. The movie's stellar reviews and the excitement of seeing a female superhero lead her own film have bumped the movie up, putting the film closer to the openings of Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Gal Gadot reprises her role of Diana, first introduced in "Batman v. Superman", a highlight of that film.

While Keri Russell won't be portraying Wonder Woman in a live action movie, she was an inspired choice to lend her vocal abilities and screen presence to one of our most beloved superheroes in 2009. The actress insists she did not know exactly what film she was auditioning for when she tried out for the "WonderWoman" role but believes it is the ideal one for her.

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston and many others, Wonder Woman can now be seen in cinemas worldwide.

Through her journey, she will see the dark side of man while discovering her full power and destiny. Asked why political and civil affairs should affect the right of their people to enjoy "Wonder Woman" like the rest of the world, Rania Masri, a member of Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel-Lebanon, had a few words to say. "I didn't know why, I knew it was something I wanted to do". "And what a great message we want for the girls in our lives", she said.
