Perpetrators Unknown A Day After Massive Kabul Attack

The Haqqani Network is an Afghan insurgent terror outfit based in Pakistan's Waziristan and has carried out many high-profile attacks on USA forces, high ranking Afghan officials and foreigners in Afghanistan.
He also vowed that the attack would not shake Germany's determination to "support the Afghan regime with the stabilisation of their country".
The incident took place at 8:22am Kabul time in front of the German Embassy and Roshan telecommunications company in Kabul in the Wazir Akbar Khan area.
The victims of the Wednesday morning explosion at a busy intersection appeared to have mostly been Afghan civilians on their way to work or school, as well as office workers.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hit back over the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) after the latter cancelled the proposed series between the two countries in the wake of the recent Kabul attack. The Kabul blast on early Wednesday morning claimed more than 80 lives and injured hundreds.
ANI reported that although the target of the attack was still unknown, Islamial Kawasi, the Public Health Ministry spokesperson told the media that most of the casualties have been civilians, inlcluding womena and children.
The White House on Wednesday condemned the suicide bomb attack that took place in Kabul, Afghanistan, killing at least 90 people and injuring hundreds more, including USA citizens.
Afghans mourned the loss of family members, friends and colleagues on Thursday, a day after the truck bomb exploded in the capital leaving at least 90 people dead and more than 450 others wounded in one of the worst extremist attacks since the drawdown of foreign forces from Afghanistan in 2014.
ISIL has claimed responsibility for several recent bombings in the Afghan capital, including a powerful blast targeting an armored North Atlantic Treaty Organisation convoy that killed at least eight people and wounded 28 on May 3.
"These terrorists once again proved they don't represent any religion and they only carry out such coward attacks to please their Pakistani masters who are against all Islamic and human rights principals", the NDS said in a statement. He also suggested that the German embassy might not have been the target of the blast, which sent towering clouds of black smoke into the sky near the presidential palace.
The White House said U.S. President Donald Trump called Ghani to express his condolences and condemn the bombing, saying that the attack happening during Ramadan underscores "the barbaric nature of the terrorists who are enemies of all civilized peoples".
For 16 years, USA troops and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies have been fighting alongside Afghan forces to crush the Taliban and more recently ISIS in Afghanistan.
