Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner Thinking of Moving Back to NYC

Members of Trump's White House have regularly requested anonymity when speaking to the press.

For now, Trump's eldest daughter is moving full steam ahead in her West Wing role, where she serves as the President's eyes and ears, providing input and insight on a wide range of issues.

On Monday, news emerged that as part of those efforts, a number of White House staffers had encouraged Kushner to "lay low".

The talks between Kushner and the Russians, if confirmed, would raise new questions about the Trump team's relationship with Moscow, which USA intelligence agencies say tried to sway the November election in the property tycoon's favor.

A recent report from The Washington Post claimed that Kushner attempted to coordinate a secure, private line of communication with Russian Federation.

"I've been told a factor in the lack of tweeting overseas overall was the presence of Melania Trump", wrote a Politico reporter on Twitter. He added that the 36-year-old, who has a portfolio ranging from Middle East peace to streamlining the federal bureaucracy, is "respected by virtually everyone" and "is a very good person".

Right now they're talking about Jared Kushner - and have nothing nice to say.

Back in Washington on Sunday afternoon, Ivanka Trump was spotted outside the White House, chatting with lawyer Marc Kasowitz before boarding an SUV together.

Rep. Adam Schiff of California said the government needed to "get to the bottom" of the matter and urged a review of Kushner's security clearance "to find out whether he was truthful".

Trump is said to be angriest at Kushner about something else: Kushner's sister, Nicole Meyer, was caught on video last month trying to lure Beijing investors into participating in a Kushner Companies condominium project in New Jersey by holding out the prospect of immigration visas that can lead to permanent residence in the United States. It is possible that those sources don't exist but are made up by fake news writers. Kushner initially had come to the attention of FBI investigators a year ago as they began scrutinizing former national security adviser Michael Flynn's connections with Russian officials, the two sources told Reuters. Officials said he misled Vice President Mike Pence about whether he and the ambassador had discussed USA sanctions against Russian Federation in a phone call.

"My dashboard warning light was clearly on and I think that was the case with all of us in the intelligence community - very concerned about the nature of these approaches to the Russians", Clapper told NBC's "Meet The Press".

The Senate intelligence committee, which is investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 US presidential election, has requested information and documents from Trump's campaign dating back to July 2015, the AP and other news outlets confirmed. The newspaper cited anonymous US officials who were briefed on intelligence reports on intercepted Russian communications. Senator Bob Corker, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, noted that Kushner has been willing to answer questions. "They are not our friends".
