Is LeBron James a good bet on the NBA's biggest stage?

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will battle for the championship for a third straight year, and it's all set to begin with Game 1 Thursday night at Oracle Arena.

The 2016 NBA Finals went the full seven games.

The Los Angeles home of National Basketball Association star LeBron James has been sprayed with racist graffiti, according to news reports Wednesday, the eve of the first game of the National Basketball Association championship. Having lost past year in part because Green couldn't control his emotions, Draymond is more likely to keep things in check this time around.

Kyrie Irving has also reached a higher plane these playoffs, even after last season's remarkable performance late in the series to help the Cavs rally from a 3-1 deficit. While that number isn't the sexiest, when you consider some of the teams James has taken to the championship round, it becomes a little easier to stomach. The Warriors have been known to launch and connect on many three point bombs.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are back in Oakland at the scene of their Game 7 victory last June to take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in this year's highly anticipated NBA Finals. James has been even better, putting up 32.5 points on almost 57 percent shooting, and adding 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game. He averaged a quiet 13.8 points in the first two rounds, then busted out for 22.6 points and 12.4 rebounds per game against Boston in the Eastern Conference finals.

The team who have finished last season (regular) with 73-9 added one of the best players in the league to their roster - Kevin Durant.

Here is all you need to know: TV, live stream and radio info, tip-off time, plus three things to watch...

"He's talked about possibly coaching Game 1. and I even tried to tell him, 'Steve, you should do it, and if you don't feel like you're OK, halfway through the game, just go back in the back, '" Brown said on Wednesday.

"I mean [Golden State's] got a lot of shooters but do they got anybody to play defense and stop a guy like LeBron?", Kasich asked. Steve Kerr, Mike Brown and the Warriors staff has been as good as it gets across the National Basketball Association for a couple of seasons. The Cavs winning, of course, and me actually being right for a change.

West (95 games), Barnes (90) and Deron Williams (85) aren't far behind. "That's the only pressure I worry about", Durant said.

The series will feature a number of compelling individual matchups, most notably James versus Durant at small forward, Kyrie Irving versus Curry at point guard and Kevin Love versus Draymond Green at power forward.
