Celine Dion Speaks About Her Billboard Music Award Performance

Last night's Billboard Music Awards featured performances by millennial hitmakers, from Drake to Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus.

Drake was the big victor at Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards, winning 13 awards and breaking Adele's record of 12 back in 2012.

Cher just celebrated her 71st birthday over the weekend, and strutted around in sparkles and pasties onstage, looking and sounding phenomenal.

The music award show honoured the best of artistes of 2016.

"You're very iconic", Drake said in footage of the meeting that surfaced online.

When the Billboard Music Awards announced her appearance, Dion readily admitted, "I'm more than thrilled".

Beckinsale wasn't the only one impressed with Cher's performance, as she blew audiences away with performances of two of her biggest hits, "Believe" and "If I Could Turn Back Time".

Halsey, meanwhile got acquainted with with K-pop group, BTS, who became the first K-pop group to win a Billboard Award.

"Thank you. So, I wanted to do what I do since I was 4 years old, and I've been doing it for 53 years".

Drake wants to get Celine Dion's face tattooed on his body. Vanessa Hudgens and Ludacris hosted the evening in an unexpected yet pleasant pairing.

"After 20 years you may think or feel like 'Oh, am I going to sing the Titanic again?' Dion told Billboard after the performance". You can see the full list over at Billboard.

Even Drake took notice in his acceptance speech, adding that Hudgens looked "amazing", which drew envious looks from Nicki Minaj.

Interestingly, South Korean boy band BTS also made their presence felt at the award show by winning the Top Social Artist of the Year award.
