Villarreal are in advanced talks with Manchester City over a £12m deal for striker Enes Unal.
Turkey worldwide Unal signed a five-year deal after flying to Spain to finalise details of a switch.
The transfer could be a win-win for both Villarreal and City.
Turkish-football.com states the 20-year-old is set to complete a move to Estadio de la Ceramica this summer, although the English club will include a €20m buyback clause in the deal.
The 20-year-old failed to make an appearance for City during his two-year with the club after joining them from Bursaspor for £2m in July 2015.
The Turkey global has enjoyed spells at Genk, NAC Breda and Twente and he managed 30 goals across his time at the three clubs.
Unal made his Turkey debut in 2015 at the age of 17 and has five caps so far.
Unal will be formally unveiled at El Madrigal in preseason as he is in the Turkey squad to face Macedonia and Kosovo over the next fortnight.
